September 22, 2004

So far I have made it through A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back (although I don't remember part of Empire...), but so far I can say I am quite impressed. The picture is better than ever and the sound is phenomenal as expected. As far as the new enhancements, I've noticed one or two little added segways and as for the re-done Jabba the hut scene, he seems a little too detailed, and until I can do a 'side by side' comparison to the old one, I don't see any great improvements.

One thing that I found really interesting was Luke's haircut. When I saw Luke, I said "holy crap, he looks pretty hip," but then I remembered how uncool I used to think he looked. Then I realized its because that hair style is back. A few years, when I saw special edition that hair was long out of style, but now with shows like The OC and The WB's Everwood, I know that this hair style is in fact back, and back to stay.
