Over the past couple weeks (since Nov. 17th actually), I have been enjoying some time off from work. Our fiscal year ends at the end of November, so I had to use up the rest of my annual leave. Together with the thanksgiving holiday, I got a cool 2 weeks off. Yes, I am grateful for this. A few things happened. I have been doing a lot of relaxing. It's nice. Internetting, sleeping, playing Lego Star Wars, etc. One thing I noticed with the internetting, is that when you are on vacation and have 300+ unread items in your rss aggregator, it tends to feel more like work, whereas while at work, rssing is a nice break. Funny how that works out. Lego Star Wars is awesome, and I highly recommend it. Mine happens to be the Gamecube version. Speaking of game systems, I cannot tell you how unexcited I am about the XBox 360 and PS3 hububub. I guess I'm just not a "gamer" anymore. My Niece, Megan, got baptized yesterday. It was a nice service, even with the little ones running around the chapel and across the alter. It kind of made it entertaining actually. I can't wait for Megan to grow up. I just realized as I'm typing this that one day, Sarah and Megan will probably read this by searching my archives, or archive.org or something. That's a strange thought. And finally, Thanksgiving was quite lovely. Thursday I celebrated with Sara's family and had a delicious dinner. Then, Friday, my sister was able to fly in ad we had yet another delicious dinner with my family. Sara was doped up on Sudafed thanks to my dog, but we still managed too play some games and have a blast. Oh, also I hung out with Tom. I really like hanging out with that guy. I really wish still lived here. I feel like we're kinda on the same level in many respects and think that we should hang out more. Too bad he lives in Illinois. Thanks for listening. Don't forget to nag me to post more. I suck at it and need the motivation sometimes. "Did you make a copy? Because if you made a copy we could watch the copy."
