Hello there, my name is Mark Husson, and I run this website called /mark.
Back in the day when carbs were known only as carbohydrates and Viagra was only available in pharmacy's,
I decided to start my own website (later, it would be referred to as a "blog"). The date was April 8th,
2001. The kid who lived down the hall from me in
the residents halls of the University of Colorado at Boulder had his own website. I really liked the idea
and figured I needed my own website too. In order to keep all of my friends that went to school in
Gunnison up to date on my life, I would keep a little sub-domain'd website updated with all kinds of
things that only 4 people care about. Today, the site has grown to a full blown sub-domain'd website
with all kinds of things that only 6 people care about. We have made tremendous progress. So thanks
for stopping by. The rest of this page contains information about myself, as well as the site.
About Mark
I was born in 1980 in Saginaw, Michigan.
My family moved to Colorado when I was one and I grew up in Arvada, Colorado. Now I will list some interesting
things about myself.
- I have been hospitalized 3 times due to forehead wounds
- My freshman year of high school I marched in the Rose Bowl Parade
- I have been pulled over by a cop 5 times
- I received 2 tickets (neither were for speeding)
- My insurance company knows about one of them
- My marching band scored 5th in the nation in 1997
- I graduated college from Regis university in 2004
- Number of times my car has been broken into: 4
- Number of car stereo's stolen: 1.5
- Number of licence plates stolen: 1
- I have been hit by a car
- I have been outside the United States three times
- I have never been outside of North America
- At home I use Firefox exclusively with these extensions
