Sorry bout the lack of updates.
We went to Green Day and it was awesome. As it turns out, Billy Joe actually
DID call Brad up on stage and Brad got to play his guitar for a song while Billy
was singing. It was the best moment of my life, and it didn't even happen to
me. He is going to write a 1st person account of it for all of you to read soon.
Two days ago Maggie and I went to Rocky's Auto to look and see what they had.
We drove home in maggies new car. heh. No, Its really awesome, its a '98 VW
Jetta, Black, five speed with a 2.0 litre 4 cylender turbo tcharged engine.
It ruleZ.
Work is work
I'm sorry I don't post much, and i also dont feel like typing too much tonight.
This RandomThoughtoftheDay is kind of like the last one, so I appologize

"I want to know how many people have stopped doing drugs, or have not started
because they are so heavily sweyed by the simple phrase "say no to drugs"
stamped on a urinal matt that is being partialy covered by a urinal cake in
a dirty bathroom that has an odd but familiar smell located in a run down gas
station."

Maggie and I came up with a new poll, please vote.
Sorry Lance and Jenni but my mail is messed up, its not letting me send. I will
try to fix it soon.
"Your rubber, I'm glue: Whatever you say sticks to me."
And one more thing, I will never make up a RandomThoughtoftheDay, It will either
be something I actually thought of/said or I will not have one for the day.

"Why does the cotton industry advertise? I mean, come on. I want to meet
the guy who is sitting at home, thinking to himself 'Im gonna buy a new shirt,
but I dont know which way to go: Cotton or Polyester.' And then a TV commercial
for cotton comes on and hes says 'Oh crap! Well, the choice is obvious now!
Ill buy a cotton shirt. Afterall, it is the fabric of our lives."

I suck. Why? Because I never update. Something you all know. Something I
need to change. Looks like our house will be getting either at&t@home or
sprint broadbrand soon, so that will mean more updates. Lots of things.
A few days ago I worked a 15 hour day because I had to go to a Best Buy training
at 7 in the morning (boo) and I got hit on the way there. It wasnt bad tho.
She just bumped me from behind and there was no damage to my car but it still
sucked. I spent about 10 hours at our computer training but it was ok because
at the end of the day I won a Sony DVD player, thanks to the fine folks at Sony.
Go Sony. Wich was ironic because I had just bought the Dogma DVD the week before
for no reason. Anyhow, after the training I had to work another 5 hours at work
in Westminister. boo
On Friday Maggie, Tom, Brad, maybe Cooper and I and probably some more people
are going to the Green Day concert. It will "rock" im sure. We will
probably go down to the theatre in the morning so we can get good seats. Even
though there are no seats. Brad is convinced he will be able to get up on stage
with Billy and play his guitar.
Lastly, I have thought of an Idea that is going to make this website get huge.
The other day I noticed I was thinking about random things and I realized that
all of you probably want to know sometimes what I think about. (?) Anyhow, I
am officially starting my Random Thought of the Day. These are gonna
go over like hot-cakes, i swear. Theyre great. Here we go with No.1
-=RandomThoughtoftheDay=-
"If I had to fill out a form and mail it off, and one of the questions
was asking how attractive I thought I was, I would probably put down a nine,
but if I was being interviewed by someone and they asked me how attractive I
thought I was, I would probably say about a six."
(i just realized that this sounds like a "Deep Thought by Jack Handy"
but after a few you will see that they are not like that)

My brother got a job today! In Boulder where Kat (his wife) works at CU.
Im really excited. He'll be doing print stuff for a while, and then maybe some
web design stuff.
My story from today at Best Buy goes like this: A man walked up to me and said
he needed a computer. He pointed me to the e-machine™ that he wanted to buy.
Well, we all know that e-machines™ are pieces of junk, but I guess he didn't
know that. I took the liberty of explaining that to him. I next told him that
I could custom build him an HP box for close to the same price, but he would
be getting a much better computer.
I made an equivilent HP that was 100 mHz faster, and had
128 megs of ram instead of the e-machine's™ 64. It came out to be only $130
more than the e-machine™ to which I was supprised. He said, "yeah, but
its $130 more". So I could tell this guy did not care about quality, just
price. Just like any other sale, I told him about our service plan. Then, again,
like every other sale, I said something like, "Sir, your probably going
to end up spending an aditional $300-500 on things like the service plan, maybe
a battery backup, blank CDs, software, things like that."
And he said to me in the funniest voice I had ever heard come out of a 50 year
old man, "Why are you doing this to me?"
"Doing what sir?" "Do they make you say this?" "Say
what sir?" "Tell me that I can't buy an e-machine™ and that they're
bad" "Well sir, I'm just letting you know ahead of time that from
other customers who have bought e-machines™ that I've talked to since I've worked
here, they all seam pretty displeased with their computers and I was just letting
you know this up front so that you dont have to buy a bad computer" He
then started mumbling in his high-pitched voice something like "i cant
believe this, do they make him say this" as he was walking out of the store.
I said bye to him as he was leaving. Anyhow, I guess he drove home and called
Best Buy and asked for a manager. He told Troy, one of the managers that I wasn't
letting him buy an e-machine™ and that I was going to make him buy $500 dollers
of stuff that he didn't need. Luckily my supervisor was next to Troy as he was
taking the call, so he said he was next to me when it happened. I didnt get
in trouble. Hope you liked my story.
*A word that I have started to use way too much lately: Basically
p.s. lance: i updated so shut up.

I am so excited. There is a new episode of The Family
Guy thats going to be on on Wednesday on Fox at 8:30 my time. I thought it was
gonna be gone forever. I heard it got cancled, but then they won an emmy so
Fox was like, "well, maybe we should keep it". That will definately
be my favorite show once the Simpsons end, which, by the way, I heard might
end in a movie. That would just be kinda wierd. thats it.

$280 but he gave it to me for fifty bucks. It was a good deal. Im excited, now

Well, I know I havn't posted in a while, so I'll go
ahead and talk for a little while.
The idea was that Maggie was going to take over the poll questions, but she
hasn't showed an intrest in doing so...although she has come up with several
ideas. Maggie, you can email me
the poll question and choices if you want.
New mp3otw up. Its Weezer & Soul Coughing - American
Girls. It is the best song I have heard by two artists, fallowed closely by
David Bowie & Queen's Under Pressure.
Um, the Best Buy thing is going okay. I like the people I work with but it is
a little different for me because I have never had to "sell" something
before. I just kinda had to ...be there i guess. I'd like to think of myself
as a pretty suave guy tho. The discount i will have there not for another 20
days or so [suck] but when I do I get stuff for like "at cost" + 5%.
So that means stuff like stereos i can get for almost half price =). I will
have to see though how this job goes because I'm not even out of training yet.
The other night we stayed there untill 1am unloading a truck and that was a
big crap.
This weekend I went to Oak Creek for the third time. I went with Todd and Tyler
(whose cabin we stayed in), Mike Pinegar, AJ, and Jeff, a kid that T&T know
from Western. It was a blast. All we did was hang out, drink, throw rocks at
trains passing by, run into and break fences at the park, urinate in inapropriate
places, and almost get kicked out of the Steamboad swimming pool to boot! But
it was fun as hell. No one faught or got hurt or anything. We just were sad
there were no women with us. I missed maggie a lot because I was around 5 other
guys all weekend. I wish she coulda come. However, there were some girlZ who
came to house sit next door, and we were gonna try to hook up todd and mike
with them but they turned out to be really stupid, stupid women. The didnt want
to come over, they just wanted to "catch up with eachother". stupid.
Anyhoo...overall very fun. Next year we might bring our girlfriends, and that
would be better.
I appologize for all the spelling misteaks that i know i have made, but I'm
too lazy to check them.
Which reminds me...read this.
(PS. My parents are in St. Louis right now so why don't you come over and party)
