Happy New Years to everyone else!
 And life goes on. To your left, you will find a little graphic I have made for my counter strike clan. Just a little fun fun. Isn't if funny how every night for everyone consists of trying to find something good to do? The problem is that it dosen't stop there. Oh no. Once you have found something good to do, you have to consider what else you could be doing and thinking if there is something better to do out there. Then you realize that the night is completely wasted away and in hindsight you probably sould have done something else. Thus is life.
Av's lost. I went to the game with mi padre. It was a great time, but I think the officials were Philidelphia fans. As always, I can't wait to play my hockey this Sunday and I think that the whole crew is comming to watch. Also, Paul Abling just may be playing for us as of this week. I hope so.
 Twas a descent day off. While I did not get a haircut, my snow tires put on, or an oil change, it still was pretty successful. I got all of my shopping done. Maggie and I went out to cherry creek mall and then to westminster mall to accomplish this goal. The only problem was that Maggie was going to get me the Band of Brothers (b.o.b.) DVD set, but every one was sold out. everyone, even best buy, so I cried. She gave me the money for it and said to get it when it comes in or if I can think of something that I like better to get that instead.
Went to Weston's who was having a party and it was lame because if was just a bunch of thugs there, but it was good to see the old crew (pictured above, and clickable). We came back to my house and chilled for an hour or so (sorry nick) and thats where that picture is from. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and I will be back on this site shortly after (or maybe before).
Honestly, I don't think I will be trying to update this as much as I regularly try over break because I think most people read this to procrastinate while they are away at school. If this is not the case, and you for some odd reason really want me to keep up with my 'for-the-most-part' daily updates, just let me know and I will try harder. Hyenas lost by a point to "The 5th Line" tonight. I scored none, but there were some people playing really amazing like my brother and Jeffy C. We just weren't all in it and they seemed to be on top of their game (mainly their 2 super good players were scoring). O well, I had a blast as I always do and already cant wait till next week (we play Brozo's team) Work sucks, but I have much less of it next week and am looking foreword to tomorrow, my 1st day off (of work and/or school) I realized now since thanksgiving. Its really cool that all of these people are in town, Hung out with Jason the past 2 nights and My sister (who got into town), Sarah & Hannah "G-st0ne", aj, tom and whoever else. It will be cool to hang out with people again, it seems like so long since I hung out with so many people that I am good friends with. Nothing funny or witty to say tonight I guess, but check out the new mp3otw. I will try to have it up as short as possible, as I am not a big fan of the christmas songs in general.
Update to previous post. Luckily I misread my BBY schedule and was off at 9:30, to that was awesome. Did a little McCoys (we got christmas cards from our 2 watrieses there that love us) and then bro'ed down with aj, weston and Jason Lang who is in town for a few weeks. Hopefully we will all have lots of fun and stuffs while everyone is in back in town.
I heard that Lord of the Rings: Two Towers is crap from my roommate, and I believe him. He said that Episode II will kick the pants out of any digital effects in LOTR. Being that I hated the 1st one because it was so boring and uninteresting, and visually lacking, I have made the decision not to see its sequel. That is unless someone talks me into going because I am really bored or something. When Harry met Lloyd: Dumb and Dumberer is going to be a movie. At first I was excited, it was going to be a prequel to the great original, but then I found out that it is set in the 70's and will star the "Dell dude". I will tell you that I am no longer interested in this project. Third movie thing is that it looks like Kevin Smith will be directing the 3rd installment of Scary Movie which is entitled "Scary Movie 3: Episode I - Lord of the Brooms". I just hope he can bring this movie series out of the crap hole it started out in. Perhaps a descent comedy by the Wayans brothers for the first time in a long time (Note: Best recent Wayans work: Marlon Wayans in Requiem for a Dream, 2000) Hopefully I will update tonight too, even tho no one is reading (or if they are, they aren't commenting) not that we're all out of school. I just got off work. MBE 9-3, BBY 4-12, that a good lovin 14 hours of work. gooooo0000OOOO MONEY!
Guess what? I *do* work on christmas eve! So that means christmas day will be my 1st day off of school/work in 2+ months and then its right back to work the day after. I would ask that you weep for me in this, a season of giving. Tomorrow will be quite funny because I will be working at Mailboxes Etc (MBE) and at this point you will have to 2-day a package in order to get it there by christmas. This will tell us two things about our customers. 1) They are the stereotype procrastinators that will come in a few days before christmas, then when you tell them that it will cost 80 dollars to 2-day something as opposed to the 16 bucks for ground, they opt for the cheap service and justify it by the ol' "thought that counts" notion, then 2) you got the people who don't really care and pay the 80 bucks for their lack of planning. Suckers. I just finished watching "An Evening with Kevin Smith". All 4 hours of it. It was pretty good. There was actually some really funny stuff. He basically just answered questions and turned his answers into stories of his experiences. I'll definitely recommend it as a rental and you can buy it if you want, but once you've heard the stories, you've heard em. Hardcorps Smith fans are still inclined to buy. Oh, BTW (which as i found out this past year does *not* mean ballz to the wall, it means 'by the way') any suggestions on presents I could ask for around 40 or 50 bucks? All my presents I've asked for this year are dork-based, as in all computer stuff. I need some suggestions. Post in comments below. So, if you read this page, or should I say if your reading this page and want to hang out with me, that would be totally cool because I don't really have any friends. I mean, I have friends, but not really any that I hang out with on a "juz chillin" basis. Its always event based, and I think I need some friends that I can just chill with. So..call me...if you wanna chill I guess. Fun Thing to try: For those of you with windows xp, and maybe other OS's, Hit the shift key like 6 times really fast right now and you will get a little surprise.
Work sucks. I'm tired of getting taken advantage of and screwed around with at the ol BBY, so I'm probably gonna be quittin' there within the next month or so. I think that I will be working all thru the break, as in every day, wither at BBY or MBE. This will mean that Christmas eve will be my 1st day off from work and school in probably 2 months. nice. Sorry, but I'm tired, and want to goto bed so I can wake up for work tomorrow morning. .::?::. -=RandomThoughtoftheDay=- (I don't know if I've already done this one or not) Why, at goodwill and places like that can you buy underwear, but they have a no return policy on it? Isn't it already used? I guess you can return it, if by return it you mean donating it to the unforgettable 'Jane' on the desired pick-up day after confirmation call.
OKAY! So, I'm good and buzzed as well I should be. As Margaret stated two posts ago, "trials and tribulations of Mark's schooling continue" and now they have ended and to much avail. I am over 90% satisfied with how things turned out. As I posted at the end of last semester: mark said: "Schools over. I am waiting for that overwhelming feeling of joy to come over me......not happening. It was a sore performance. There were many things that were not of quality or even finished that I turned in in the past couple of days. I am not happy that school is over. Why you ask? Because I don't think I did well regardless of what my grades will say." Luckily, this semester I do not feel this way at all. I feel accomplished. I put in way over 24 hours worth of actual work to finish this semester and do not feel that I came up short. I put out some really descent papers and projects. I can actually say that I am satisfied with my performance, and can only hope that my grades reflect that. Get ready for more posts, and soon (and by soon, i mean whenever i get to it, and by whenever i get to it i mean never) a new format and new fun stuff at the ol' /mark. Until I have something interesting to post about...in the words of Nelson Muntz, "smell ya' later."

. . . And so, the trials and tribulations of Mark's schooling continue, thus leaving no additional time for update on his behalf. However Maggie's ever exciting life continues. She, too is finishing the final week of school for the semester, but, to much disbelief does not care. She preferrs hockey and other things of the sort. With higher education coming to an end she has begun reading the third installment of the Harry Potter saga in order to foil the movie studio's plans for surprise next time. Yes, I feel that this post is too short but alas, I must continue throwing my self in to the world of young Potter and friends. Upon completion, I promise to spoil the ending for all and announce my findings before the entire Information Super Highway. You shall all see, (even though the book has been published and widley sold for over a year now) Young Potter and his cohorts shall have no more surpirses in store for this lass.

 Looks like Blossom got her wish. I'm getting a Nokia 8270 finally. After 8 weeks, 9 separate visits to the store and arguing nicely with the manager for an hour, I get a phone. She called me today and left a message saying that I could come in and replace my bunk Kyocera for that nokia there on the left. I had talked to her last week and she took my name and number and stuff. So, this is cool because now I will know: who is calling, peoples phone numbers, time and date, and why the hell my phone keeps beeping. Is it a voice mail? Low battery? Secret Transmition? These are all things you can know if the screen on your phone works. One night, it was really cold out and so i could barely see the screen, so I wrote down all the numbers in the book. I may need people to send me their numbers again. I will let you know.
I continued on with the homework after yesterdays post, Doing a perspective drawing (that kept me up till 5.30am this morning), some Linear Algebra, some Economics, and Computer Science, not mentioning trying to get my schedule for next semester figured out. Im so pooped. I don't hate the work, I just hate that I have to constantly be doing it. O well, only one week. How hard can it be? I guess we'll see. Belated shot out to Todd for hanging out with me last weekend, well...when he wasn't skiing. Good times. We will need to hang out more this break, or are you chicken?
Time to answer the question (not like any of you asked it). I have been up for two days without sleep. Well...i took one (1) hald hour (1/2 hour) nap, but thats it. I had to write for this research assignment, and I ended up writing about 29 pages, 25 of those were in one sitting. I was doing homework for 14 hours straight (I calculated with only bathroom breasks and little other breaks (answer a phone call. ) I am seriously seing weird colors right now, My keyboard is green and purple and yellp, seriously. This is weird. I'd better goto sleep. Peace out.
Mark hasn't slept yet, meaning he hasn't gone to sleep since the day before yesterday. No time to explain. Explination comming later tonight. Red Bull = good.
