Happy Birthday Nick!
Happy New Years to everyone else! also, this is fun. wish google would do it too.
Boo-yah.
Mark the spectacular got another hat trick last night in a 9 to 3 victory at the Bladium. I finally have my spunk back when it comes to scoring. Todd and Tyler came to watch the game, which was cool. This week should be quite busy with all the people in town that I want to see. Inevitably, I am going to make a lot of people mad, as I always do, by telling too many people that I'll hang out with them and then end up not being able to hang out with all of them. That's my style. Hope you have wonderfully holiday times with chicory and sage brush, or whatever the hell it is you people do this time of year. If I don't post again till after Christmas, peace, and have a great Christmas..
I though of something funny tonight. I started this site in April of 2001, and I cant remember the original reason for doing it. I know that shortly into its run, I decided it would be a place to go for my Gunnison and other friends who don't live here to catch up on me, see what I'm doing. So then it became a pseudo-journal for my life. Keeping in 1-way touch with my friends. After a while, I started posting funny things and stories that I had thought up and pondered over. Before I knew it, my site was a Web Log. Without my knowing, as I was doing this, there were many many other people doing the same thing and, once again, little to my knowledge they came up with a name for it, blog, and tools and comments and everything under the sun to make an individual's personal pointless thoughts turn into the funny/insightful/stupid phenomenon it has become. If you don't believe me (which you probably do), I think the number of tools and features added to blogs these days speaks for itself. It just seems funny how a little niche of the net that I created for no purpose at all can now be lumped into the vast experience that blogging has become. Also, New Years Eve we are getting everybody to go to 15th street tavern (which is a whole hell of a lot of fun) where the band Yellow Second will be playing. If you're not doing anything yet, you're now coming with us.
And its another round of: Marks stupid thoughts of anhebriated wisdom. Tonight, loal readers, I propose a question. This is a question that has long plagued homosapeans, and yes, even hederosapians. Tonight I ask a question looking for a response. The question is as sugh: 'Is modesty a good or a bad trait.' I do not ask this question in haste, but rather, I ask this question in the hopes that it will make Mark become a better person. PPlaease answer with care. follow-up question. And this should be answered without the help of dictionaries or thesaurses: What is the antonym of modesty? answer these questions two and ye shall be enlightened. -=MovieQuoteoftheDay=- "I feel like I'm cheating on you with you."
My second to last semester came to a crashing end on Thursday night when I turned in my 45 hour Digital Design project, another computer science project and tool my Digital test, plus half a semesters worth of homework for two classes. Now I can set my sites on having fun for a month and then finishing up school. My Grandpa (like 82 years of age) drove down from Garson, Ontario, Canada for the weekend with my dads cousin. It was awesome to see him and hang out, meet with all the family...that whole deal. His still hilarious. He said that his in-house nurse plays hockey, and comes over and says thinks like "I scored 2 goals last night". My Grandpa says to me "I don't know if he wants a hug for that, or what." Scored my first hat trick ever tonight, in our winning game at the Bladium. It was a lot of fun, but tiring as we only had one sub for offense and one sub for defense. This websites getting pretty lame lately, as I am focusing my efforts on some other things. Hopefully I'll have a great break and plenty to write about. Until then. -=MovieQuoteoftheDay=- "It only takes one to sound the alarm." "Then we'll do it real quiet-like."
Update: Just finished my Digital Design Project. It took approx. 45 hours. Done with school on friday. Oh, glorious friday.
Oops, I didn't update my website. Uh, well, I bought a domain. Having problems with them getting it propagated. It upsets me because its been 70 hours since I registered it. Anyhow, I'm stoked. I have been doing entirely too much school work the past week and will continue to do even more this week, as this is finals week. So don't expect any great updates this week. If you are interested in contributing to the new site, but I have not yet spoken to you about it, please contact me and I will give you the rundown. Until next time... -=MovieQuoteoftheDay=- "I like simple pleasures...like butter in my ass and lollipops in my mouth"
![]() I don't have anything to post really, which is nothing new, so I thought I'd put up this picture that I did for my photoshop class to show. Its Jesus-rific! -=MovieQuoteoftheDay=- "Now you know the house rules, no bitches after eleven."
I am asking for a little help from all the /mark readers today. For all the years of witty (sometimes) commentary on things you don't really care about, I ask in return for a moment of your time. I am getting a new domain. Good domains are tough to get, especially of the .com sort. So I have spent quite a while coming up with names, and all I ask is that you peruse through the list and tell me the one you like best. Keep in mind, the shorter, the easier to type/remember. I just want to know which ones stand out to you and are neat words, as most of these are made up words. A plea: I am asking kindly that you please don't see one that is neat and go register it yourself. I spent a lot of time on these, and I wouldn't want you to gank the name from right out under me. Please. Don't register these. If you like one that I don't pick, let me know and I'll let you have it. And now, on to the list: abist.com swipic.com sentrig.com centrig.com nobali.com infestisio.com entripic.com socialdystrophy.com zegot.com zeagot.com orpic.com orpick.com sintric.com forlackofabettername.com flobn.com (the acronym) pugnor.com slipic.com distrophy.com swickel.com swickle.com trempic.com betterbycomparison.com memico.com Please comment on the comment link and let me know if you like any or none of these. It will really help me out. Thanks.
I was just washing my hands in the bathroom after relieving myself, and I looked in the mirror and found that I have a huge ugly scar on my head! Its like 4 or 5 inches across and its smack dad in the middle! What the hell is going on? Did I fall on my head and not notice it in the weeks it would have taken to heal?!? Boy its ugly. I was wondering why I can't get any women, let alone have a conversation with someone without them turning a sour face like when a baby makes the "I have gas" face. Great. Now I'm going to have to live the rest of my life with this honkin ugly red scar smack dab in the middle of my noggin. Everyone's gonna like me now...
The Thanksgiving break I had was fan-flippin-tastic. I got to see many of my great friends and take a short break from work. There was much partying happening at my house and I was definitely happy with that. So happy in fact, that I decided to clean the gutters on my roof as I watched the sunset come up at 7:30 this morning before I went to bed. I hope you all had as much fun as I and for those of you who went shopping, I hope you didn't get elbow checked or kicked as bad as what I've been hearing. -=MovieQuoteoftheDay=- "Yolanda, I thought you said you were gonna be cool."
