I got Club Dread in the mail from Netflix today and was quite excited. You see, one of my favorite films of all time is Super Troopers, and Club Dread is written by, directed by, and staring the same guys as Super Troopers. When I saw Club Dread in the theaters, I thought it was pretty hilarious, but expected that it would only get more hilarious each time I saw it (as in te case of Super Troopers). Well, when I watched it tonight, and it was not any better than when I first saw it, which was quite disappointing.

I still have hope for this movie though. Always with the hope.
I also bought a pair of vonZipper's today because my Dragons broke.

I was pretty late to work today, which makes me feel just awful. I'm glad I work at a business that has people who understand that things happen every once and a while. I'm also glad all the bosses were in a meeting that was determining their and our fate (if you've seen Office Space, it's kinda like the Bobs). So this whole 'justification of our jobs' thing is kinda bringing down the morale at the office. I was thinking that we need something to spruce things up, but I've already tried buying a drinking bird, and people were only somewhat responsive to that. Several other things I tried have also not helped at all. Does anyone have any suggestions to make everyone happy again?

So I also bought a camcorder tonight. It's a 3CCD (i.e. semi-professional grade) Panasonic Camcorder that is tiny(pic). This thing is awesome. I didn't think I'd be having this much fun with it yet, but I am. It has a built in camera that takes pretty decent pictures (1)(2). Hopefully I'll be having a lot of fun with this fine piece of electronic bliss over the years to come.

ps. i do weddings now.

This weekend was perhaps one of the wildest weekends I have had involving alcohol in quite some time. On Friday night I was at my friend DB's house party and I met this fellow named Josh. Josh was good friends with DB's roommate, Cole. Josh invited me to a pool party he was having the following night at his house.

Saturday night came and Myself, Weston, Maggie, DB, and Jim went to this Josh kids house for the party. I enjoyed a fresh pint of Jack Whacker Wheat Ale out of our new Kegerator, followed by two swift shots of Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey. By the time I arrived, I was nicely buzzed, but found out that they had ran out of beer. But this was no problem at all considering Captain Morgan himself had stopped by the party earlier and left some of his booty at the party (a handle).

As the night progressed, I had invented my drink of choice: The Dirty Seven™. The Dirty Seven™ is 1 part Captain Morgans, 1 part 7up. I enjoyed Dirty Seven's™ all night until we started doing tequila shots. At some point in the night (1am?) I was thrown into the swimming pool in the back yard by Weston and an unnamed accomplice. Luckily there were already some people in the pool, so I had company, but my USB drive did get wet and broke (cell phone, watch and wallet were spared). After I had fun in the pool for an hour or so, I got out and ran through the house in my skivvies like a six-year-old near a slip-n-slide on a hot summer day. I found my clothes, still wet and put them back on.

I was pretty cold, so Weston decided to heat me up by turning on the oven and having me stand by it. Little did he know they stored dry goods in the oven. The oven was turned off soon there after. At this point I saw something that made me mad, so I went outside to wait by the car to go home, not realizing it would be hours before we actually left. I was waiting at the car, but got very tired. I woke up several hours later, lying in the gutter using my wet socks as a pillow. I went back inside to find my friends who had been looking for me for the past hour. Apparently my skin was as white as a sheet and my teeth were chattering non-stop. Luckily I was taken home before the hypothermia set in fully, and woke up the next morning without missing a beat.

I'm glad I'm still young.

Another mysterious image of frequent site visitor and graphic designer Matt Brozovich has been found on the World Wide Web. As you may recall, Matt appeared last year on the LucasArts Web site as Darth Bandon (headshot) for the game "Star Wars - Knights of the Old Republic." Well, Matt is back with another unexplained appearance as a background character on page four, panel four in the five-page preview of Devil's Due Publishing's "G.I.Joe: Master & Apprentice." Is there a conspiracy afoot? Most likely, yes. So keep your eye out for future surprise Matt Brozovich sightings throughout the Internet.

Round one of Graduation Photos are up now. They are at http://michaelhusson.com/mark/graduation. These are only pictures from the actual ceremony. I still have to find somewhere to scan in the other pictures, and then get those online. Hope you enjoy.

Due to overwhelming response (1 for, 0 against), I have decided to keep the old way of commenting. I am glad that blogger has implemented commenting, but I think the service that I use (and paid for) work better for my purposes.

Yesterday at my work I received some seemingly good news. My boss told me that I would be able to start working 40 hours a week during the summer, which helps me a lot, in that I will have to be paying for my own insurances (health, medical, etc) now that I am not a dependent. However, it was still made very clear that I would not have a permanent position at the company, and that I should continue to look for a real job, because of the instability of my department currently.

That brings me to myself needing to get my act together and sending out my resume. I need to get my act together on a lot of stuff though, so I guess its not such a big deal in the big picture, right?

I'm considering buying a digital camcorder, but was thinking that perhaps I could spend the money on other things instead, like Vegas or something. If you have an opinion, let me know.

"And the more I thought about it... the more I realized that I should just blow my brains out and end it all. But then I thought, well, if I thought more about blowing my brains out... I start worrying about what that was going to do to my goddamn carpet. Okay, so, ah-he, that was a GOOD day, Doc."

There is a new version of blogger out. It now has comments. We'll have to see if they're better than the ones I currently use.

I got pretty excited tonight that I had a good story to tell on the ol' /mark, but now as I sit to write it, I can't for the life of me remember what it was. Because I can't think of what the story was from today, I will tell you the headlines of what stories that happened today that it was not.
To clarify, that is stuff that happened today to me that was not what I wanted to post about...in headline form.

- More People at IHS Energy Laid Off!
- Area Man mistakenly Thinks He Needs a Notary Republic
- Local Nearly Runs Out of Gas With Co-Worker In Car
- Jacky Jones Celebrates 21st Birthday With Friends, Family
- Man Goes For a Run, Gets Tired
- mp3otw is Re-uploaded, Working
- Local Parks Car Too Close to Friends Car, Drivers Side Door Won't Unlock From Outside, Man Can't Get Car Out of Driveway.

That's my whole day, and I still can't remember.

Note to self: Use term 'Great Cesars Ghost' more often.

-=MovieQuoteoftheDay=- [Being as its tough to think of new movies all the time, don't be surprised if there starts being quotes from movies that I have already used]
"Oh my God! Oh my God! My twin brother has been shot! I think it was an Asian gang or something... There was this guy, he looked Asian... and he was speaking another language, I'm pretty sure it was... Asian."

Welcome to the webpage of Graduate Mark Husson. Mark Husson graduated from Regis College on May 2nd, 2004 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science. He is currently "available for employment," and asks that you send all job opportunities to husso661@regis.edu. Thank you for visiting /mark.

I graduated college, and I feel the same as I did last week! Awesome. Really awesome. Actually, I don't feel the same. Now I feel like I really need to get my butt in gear and get a job. Last week I could use "finals" and "graduation" as excuses for procrastinating things like updating my resume and sending it out and such. Now I just feel worthless.

I did, however, have a killer graduation party. My mom counted in her head as she couldn't sleep that night that there were at least 75 people that showed up at my house throughout the day. Sometimes I feel like I don't have many friends, but then I have a night like that and I just take a bath in the love. A stinky, rowdy, wonderful bath. There were only a few people who didn't show up that I wanted there, but 75/79 ain't bad, right? I successfully got as inebriated as I had wished with a minimum hangover, so that was beyond pleasant. I kissed a girl from Ireland and found a cut on my forehead this morning that I don't remember getting, so as party's go, you can probably tell it went well. Two for two. Anyhow thanks for everyone who came, and got some pictures back. I will put them up on the website whenever I get them scanned in.

Also as a treat to everyone who reads this site and has been mad at the lack of content, I put up a new mp3 of the week. Its really long, but well worth the wait. I'll have a new mp3otw up soon, so be sure to save this one soon!

Peace out, from the class of ought 4. -mark
